BULLITT stars Steve McQueen as Detective Lieutenant Frank Bullitt, a San Francisco cop assigned to protect a mob witness. When an internal leak leads to the witness' murder, Bullitt vows to hunt down the hitmen and the leak.
In 2007, BULLITT was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".
