The cruel and unforgiving North West

What part of the country would push someone to take a Foxbody Mustang and outfit it to take on the brutality of non-paved surfaces? Seattle.

The power it always deserved

The 1991 LX has been upgraded with a rebuilt V8 302 with GT40 heads and a high-flow Edelbrock upper. The stock automatic transmission has been tossed out in favor of a Tremec T5.

Toss it all out

The hubs were converted to 5 lugs SN95 that are connected through new mounts all around. A Trac-loc differential sits in the 8.8 in the rear while in the front camber/caster plates allow adjustment of the toe and angle as you see fit.

Hmmm well it looks cool

The original ragtop is gone and in its place is an 8-point rollcage that has a roof rack and LED light bar. The rest of the exterior has been hit with a Martini livery as well as large black fiberglass (living life dangerously) fender flares.

Respectably outfitted

The entire interior of the car has been sprayed with bedliner because what else do you do when you have no roof. There is a fire extinguisher ready to go, a Bluetooth capable sound system, power windows, and a GPS speedometer.

Where did it go?

The title on the Mustang is clean but the mileage has not been divulged, The car was for sale but after being discovered by the internet the seller took the craigslist ad down. We may never find out what became of this mysterious offroad rebel but perhaps it will pop up on the site sometime in the near future.

Check out the offroad Mustang just hanging out in this video.
