Fine Example

For most Fox Body fans, it doesn't get much better than the lauded 1993 Cobra. This swan song for the long-running platform was a fantastic looking car with track-ready performance, and low-mile examples are beginning to command big money these days. So we'd imagine that this incredibly low-mile example headed to auction at Tom Mack Classics won't be the exception to that rule.

Late Production

This particular car is a late production Cobra as well - number 4,048 out of 4,993 produced. With just 7,800 miles on the clock, it's also one of the lower mile ones left out there in the world, too.

Even Fewer

According to the seller, this Cobra is one of 448 produced in this particular configuration. We assume that means black cars with a grey interior, but they don't elaborate on that particular bit of information.

Optional Goodies

The rest of the ad is similarly vague. Although they do provide a picture of the original window sticker, which indicates options including the 250A preferred equipment package, clearcoat paint, and rear window defroster.

Clean Machine

As you might imagine considering the low mileage, this Mustang is in pretty amazing shape for its age. Everything from the paint to the interior and engine bay look pristine. As do the undersides of the car.

Salt Free

Clearly, this car has never seen a salty road or much (if any) rain. The previous owner probably kept it stored away most of the time, which is common with these '93 Cobras. Low-mileage examples seem to be popping up out of the woodwork, after all.

Price Is Right?

Thus, we fully expect this Cobra to command a pretty penny at auction. But then again, you just never know. So you might want to follow along when it crosses the block at Tom Mack's Concord, North Carolina Fall auction on September 27!
