Scratching the Itch

Here in the U.S., we Americans have more than our fair share of Mustang tuners and aftermarket builders to choose from. Europe, however, is a bit trickier, as their tough emissions standards and high fuel prices make life difficult for enthusiasts. But there are lots of Mustang lovers across the pond, and for them, PS-Sattlerei has a new package called the Mustang GT-X Edition that's sure to scratch their itch for some serious upgrades.

Exterior Mods

The German-tuned ride receives a host of upgrades inside and out, as well as under the hood, making this a comprehensive package. On the outside, that means a set of 20-inch custom wheels with body-color accents wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires. KW Variant 3 coilovers at all four corners hunkers the car down over that new set of rolling stock perfectly for a very nice stance.

Miles of Alcantara

The interior of the GT-X Edition has received a ton of luxurious upgrades as well that really elevate the cabin to the next level. The most obvious change here is the addition of a slew of Alcantara, which now covers the front and rear seats, dashboard, center console, steering wheel, steering column cover, door and side coverings, headliner, and sun visors.

Orange Accents

A boatload of contrasting body-color accents perfectly complements that excessive amount of Alcantara, in this case orange to match the exterior of this particular GT-X Edition. They include quilted leather floor mats with orange Alcantara piping, orange seat belts, orange metallic dashboard bits, and a redesigned steering wheel with orange stitching.

Luxurious Cabin

The overall look of the GT-X Edition's interior is a night-and-day difference from a stock Mustang GT cabin. This is something you'd expect to see in a high dollar luxury car, not a bargain-priced American muscle car. But of course, a fancy interior and some wheels aren't the only mods to speak of on this European special.

Power Boost

Pop the hood, and you'll find an Edelbrock E-Force TVS 2650 supercharger staring back at you, which with a custom tune produces a healthy 725 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. The blown 5.0-liter Coyote V8 breathes through a stainless steel exhaust system with carbon-coated tailpipes, which undoubtedly amplifies the sound as well.

Comprehensive Package

Add it all up, and the Mustang GT-X Edition from PS-Sattlerei is a very nice, rather comprehensive package. The tuner hasn't said just how much its special selection of mods will cost for European customers to add to their stock GT, but we imagine that there will be at least a handful of owners lining up to take advantage of this somewhat rare (at least in Europe) offering.
