A candy shop of performance

On the heels of coming up with the LFP 727 Performance Package upgrade last year, Lebanon Ford Performance is back once again with a more insane power pack. The Mid-Ohio dealer with the garage motto for 2018 of "Pick Your Power," now has the LFP Hellion package which will be built 100% in-house. If you keep having a persisting feeling that your Mustang doesn't make enough power then perhaps this is the one for you.

Pretty cheap for what you get

According to the folks at Lebanon Ford, the Hellion package will start at $51,995, which includes the price of the car and will produce supercar beating performance. The package will feature all the upgrades needed in order to run that level of power smoothly and safely. What's even more exciting is that if you so wish, and have the financial means, you cab add even more performance and power after the fact.

Behind door #1

Getting into the nitty-gritty of the LFP Hellion, there will be two upgrade kits under the banner to choose from. Package 1 adds a twin-turbo Hellion Turbo system, a Bassani cat-back exhaust system and beefy 47-pound injectors from Ford Racing. Package 1 will give you a Mustang that can compete with a 2008 Dodge Viper SRT-10 with 600 horsepower at $45,499.

Behind door #2

Package 2 is where things get a bit ludicrous power-wise with 95-pound injectors, oil pump gears, new half-shafts, and a fuel pump voltage booster. Add those upgrades to the Hellion twin-turbo setup from before and you'll get a supercar beating 1,200 horsepower all sent to those poor rear wheels all for a hair under $50,000. Unfortunately, there won't be a warranty and customers will be taking a risk with either package when it comes to reliability. However, many know the dangers of dabbling in high horsepower and have made their peace with the lifespan of a hi-po engine.

It's a crap shoot

If near quadruple-digit horsepower is a little intimidating for a street vehicle, you can opt the cheaper supercharged LFP 727 package. In that one, you get the aforementioned Phase 2 Roush supercharger that will net you 727 horsepower for just $39,995. However, if you'd rather wait for something with a warranty, then there will be the Shelby GT500 which is rumored to come out in the near future.
