Seeking Revenge

Those seeking a high-powered, aftermarket-tuned Ford Mustang have no shortage of options these days from the likes of Shelby, Roush, and a plethora of other companies. One that we don't often hear of is Peregrine Automotive, which completely rebuilds modern-day Mustangs - including their bodywork - to create what it calls the Revenge GT.

Big Money

This particular Revenge GT recently hit the block at Mecum's Glendale auction, where it failed to sell with a high bid of $100k. That's a lot of coin for a Mustang of any kind, but this is no ordinary Mustang. In fact, the cost of the Revenge GT package alone is $199,500, and this car's final tally was a whopping $250,850.

Big Power

Converting a Mustang into a Revenge GT starts under the hood, where Peregrine went to town modifying this particular car's 5.0-liter Coyote V8 with a Whipple supercharger and MMR bottom end with Stage 2 head porting, custom fuel injectors, a billet throttle body, and various other modifications that help it lay down an incredible 1,200 horsepower.

One of One

Peregrine reportedly only built six Revenge GTs in this particular configuration and it's the only one with this mammoth powerplant, which breaths through a custom dual exhaust. Helping put that power to the ground are other upgrades including a custom front suspension, MagneRide, Brembo brakes, and 20-inch forged aluminum wheels wrapped with Michelin PS4S tires.

Unique Look

In the looks department, there's certainly no mistaking this Revenge GT for anything else. It's been fitted with Peregrine's widebody kit that extends the front fenders by three inches and the rears by six, along with a giant rear wing and diffuser, aero hood, lower rocker panels, and a chin spoiler - all made from carbon fiber.

Something Special

In this case, that custom bodywork is covered with a rather unique custom paint job and special graphics for the hood and decklid. The interior has been touched as well and fitted with fine Nappa leather seats and door panels, along with plenty of "Revenge" embroidery and badges to remind you you're driving something special.

Worth the Cost?

The Revenge GT is certainly one of the most unique aftermarket upgraded Mustangs on the market, and this example obviously stands out from that small crowd as well. However, we can't imagine anyone shelling out a quarter-million dollars for it, so it'll be interesting to see if this particular car winds up changing hands, and for how much.
