1. Twin Turbo Mustang GT500 1400HP

First off, when you see the name 'Shelby', one should expect nothing less than insane power and the stock 662 horsepower, is triple what you find in most standard family sedans today. The Shelby GT500 is already a powerful vehicle, and this example is even more so with 1400 horses recorded at the wheels!. That huge increase is courtesy of twin Vortices Series 2300 turbos and a totally reworked motor with some choice upgrades. This one takes the record at the Texas Mile for doing more than 215 mph in 2011 pushing about 1400WHP! That's what happens when you mate 2 turbos and a supercharger to an already monster of a motor. You can check out more about this car here and see what more than 200 looks like in the mile here.

2. 2015 Mustang GT

Insane! That is the only word that can describe this beast. This Mustang is fitted with an MMR Gen X billet Coyote engine, boosted by a Precision turbocharger. The Mustang GT originally had a 5.0 motor and 435hp, but now the Coyote motor by Modular Motorsports has been dyno tested at 2006 at the wheels! It features bored out cylinders, reworked heads, and oversized main studs to keep the devil well seated in the power plant. Pair this bad boy up with a large turbo and this beast is bound to hit the "overpowered" category. Watch it on the dyno here. Again, insane!

3. 2016 Mustang GT 5.0

How about this daily driver Mustang GT 5.0 that screams victory at the track, running 9 seconds in the quarter mile! Another hell of a beast that features a Hellion Twin Turbo system which pushes the motors limits to 800 wheel horsepower! The owner of this beast chimes in on the comments in the video and details a couple of minor but key upgrades. In the end, you can't beat the combination of doing a tire change to rip down the track in speeds in excess of 140mph! You can watch it run here. Amazing!

The vehcicle features a Illuminator Engine with forged internals, JLT cold air intake, 67mm throttle body, Roush Stage 3 Phase 3 Supercharger, MBRP Catted Longtubes headers with Cervinis side exhaust. Literally every engine and drive component has been upgraded and has resulted in this beast of a monster. Oh, and it's super loud! Reports are this beast makes over 720 horses at the rear wheels, and you can see it move here.

5. LPF Mustang GT 5.0 Twin Turbo

What do you get when you combine 2 turbos with straight pipes? Insanity! This car is tuned by LPF and is estimated at 900 horses to the ground. This is basically double the output of your standard Mustang GT. This Mustang is equipped with dual fuel pumps, dual turbos and all controlled by a Turbosmart Boost Control System. If that's not enough, just have a listen to the cameraman's reaction in the video!
