Restoration

The factory-fresh finish on this 1970 Boss 429 is the result of a rotisserie restoration by Mustang expert, Kevin Manley. Now this example can be yours as it's up for auction.

Drivetrain

As with any Boss, the engine is this car's centerpiece. Under the hood sits a Boss 429 ci V8 unit which pumps out 375 horsepower. The entire drivetrain, including the close-ratio 4-speed transmission, has been rebuilt.

Laying it Down

Helping get all of the Mustang's 375 ponies to the road is a 3.91 Traction-Lok rear end and Goodyear Polyglas tires.

Interior

This car's interior is arguably more impressive than its exterior. It has period correct White upholstery, deluxe woodgrain trim, and a deluxe steering wheel. Who wouldn't be happy munching up a few miles behind the wheel of this Boss 429?

Wheels

Magnum 500 wheels keep this Fastback riding smoothly. These rims house power disc brakes which should bring everything a brisk halt when necessary.
