The Boss
Under the hood lies the true gem of the build. The 7.0L big-block V8 Boss 429 was Ford's response to the NASCAR-dominating HEMI engine. The new engine was so large that special modifications had to be made including relocating the battery and removing the AC. Ford even had to place a sway bar in the rear just to counter the added weight up front and avoid handling issues.

Hitting the Gym
Original specs had the Boss 429 at 375 hp. But Classic Recreation's stroker kit, modern fuel injection, and engine management system push this Mustang's powerplant up to 8.4L and 815 hp! To top it off, the team paired it with a six-speed manual and Centerforce DYAD clutch for all the fun it has to offer.
