The exterior modifications have begun!

The first thing was to have SVP Unlimited apply 35% tint to the front turn signals. They were just too amber in stock form. This turned out ever better than I had hoped and gives the car a great look from the front.

I like the idea of having foglamps in the grille, but the ones that come stock on GTs are just too big, so Harman's ShowLenses sent smoked foglamp overlays to draw more attention to the grille pony and less to the oversized lights. They offer limo, amber, yellow, green, red, and blue, but I decided to go with smoke. Installation takes less than 30 seconds and drastically changes the car's attitude.

Clevenger Parts sent the fender badges used on the 2006 Mustang V6 with Pony Package. These are considerably larger than those used from 2000-2003, but are the perfect size for this GT.

The antenna that comes stock on the Mustang is so tall that Ford removes it for all of their publicity photos. Fortunately, Mustang Tuning offers both 8 and 14" shorty antennas. The 14" aligns just about perfectly with the roofline of the car, and now I don't look like I have a CB radio.
